1 dimensional Winger

What to you defines a 1 dimensional winger? i've seen Man Utd fans on here claim Ashley Young is this. However this seems such a ridiculous statement cos Young seems so complete he is very quick, he has a good delivery, he has a great long range shot and strikes the ball well from distance, he is decent at free kicks. In a Winger what more would you ask for than all this that Young provides?

Con - You can't expect him to adapt that situation if the defender clocks on and shows him to the corner flag, expect him to just give the ball to Evra so he can fall back & try it again

One dimensional wingers are alright if that one direction works. Like Valencia, not Young.

Valencia is more one dimensional than Young, though Valencia is also better in his one dimension than Young is. Walcott is also one dimensional.

One dimensional = the only have one way of reaching the end product and once that avenue is shut off they are rendered obsolete to the game. Walcott and Valencia are prime examples of this imo

He just needs to play every week, if he's not playing consistently he can't come in a make an impact, he was sick at the start for them.
