Solid state drives

Just bought one for my PC...

Fack!

This is an investment that everyone needs. Windows boots up within 10 seconds, Photoshop and Premiere within 3 seconds. This is the best kind of upgrade you can get for your PC/notebook no doubt.

Just cop a small capacity one 64GB or so and use it for apps and your OS then use a second normal drive for storage.

why slow?

did you replace the optical drive with an ssd?

i got that, 8gb ram, and it's pretty sick tbh

bout to do a lion install as well, sh*t's about to get slicker i hope

a word of warning, most places on the net are saying if you go to Mountain Lion your battery life gets worse - though I think with Lion its supposed to get better

My battery life is basically non existant anyway

I have over 1000 cycles on it

Dave, if you're doing that why don't you just run one of them minimalistic XP releases

i should be able to run a normal OS though, i used to do it on my 2009 core2duo PC and it was running smooth with 2GB ram
