PC acting up|Help

So my pc has started to act up

It hangs on the spash screen for ages(the one where u can go into bios etc etc)

The only way i can boot right now is to press f12 and select the ssd

And when it gets to the windows logo sign in hangs

Also one hdd has stopped working

It shows in the bios but not windows,but it was working before

Any ideas>

Some fishy sh*t my f*cked up last week c:\ became read only had to search forums to find a solution finally found a you tube video which helped

someone suggested running everything in a virtual machine

so if you get any problems just close it and reopen

wonder how that would work
