but saying that I notice my white friends do that with their aunts/uncles never thought about it before

How comes Nigerians always get cups, plates etc with the persons picture on it? At my old work place a Nigerian women there (lovely lady) was taking pics of everyone then come Christmas she gave us all cups with our faces on it

No but I do it to my mum sometime to wind her up.

When I was a kid I use to do what bart does in simpsons when he calls Homer by his first name to my dad. Man sat me down and said I must call him dad.
