good thing about it i guess is the system gives them an education

 

cause i swear to get into the NFL you have to go through a uni?

 

The whole American sports system is like this. With basketball players used to be able to go straight from high school into the NBA but they banned being able to do that.

 

Now like 95% of NBA players get drafted out of uni/college.

They take their high school and varsity sports teams VERY seriously out there, a ton of money goes into it.

I was decent at Rugby aswell, only 1 who could kick between the posts at school, reckon if I was born in America man coulda baided from nfl.

from when high schools have nice grounds of whatever and thousands of fans a week and uni games are broadcast internationally, they gone clear

Yeah but it creates the American school hierarchy aswell, the popular kids are treated like stars and the nerds are just abused.

 

X amount of suicides at school in America not even mentioning the angry outsiders who get hold of weapons.

but then the nerds move to silicon valley and become millionaires while the popular kids lose their looks and just settle for raising a family and having a mundane job

its two spectrums like johnny wilkinson got fizzled from early think he had a short career

on the other hand micheal johnson(dude with cauliflower ears) played for ages

i can see why nfl players have short careers
