Sky Sports comes to Now TV: £9.99 for 24 hours

In an attempt to offer a compromise for UK viewers who may want to watch the occasional sporting event but don't want a full pay-TV package, Sky Sports is available in pay-as-you-go form on its Now TV service. Access won't come cheap however, priced at £9.99 for 24 hours of access to Sky's six sports channels. That does however open up streams for all of the sports it airs, like F1, soccer, cricket and more, on TV-connected devices like the Xbox 360 and its mobile apps. Check below the break for the details in the press

Price is a joke,

£5 would of been reasonable.

NOW TV is absolute shit, currently on my 30 free trail and all it does its buffer and lock off in the middle of films.

The XBOX app is a mess aswell, cant even seek.

Nah people would and will pay this, certain times I was gassed on watching certain games. No sky back then, streams were diabolical, I would have paid a tenner in those moments still.

The idea isn't a stupid one as people will pay for it. Sky won't lose any money on this, they might not make as much a they hope but they won't lose,

If Sky were to secure the rights to the UFC in the next couple years......

crucial F1 race

Football,

El Classico

Big Champions league night,

Darts ffs

even snooker

will see people stumping up for something like this on one off occasions.

how many times have people on here paid £15+ pay per view to watch Wrestling back in the day or a Boxing match this is offering you a day of TV not just one event or programme.

Noones inviting 9 pals over to watch a game.

People may pay, but for what they're paying for, £10 is a joke.

I like the general idea of it, few times I've not been at home and wanted to watch the football.

Actually I'm sure I paid sky £5 to watch last game of the season last year.
