Cutting Keys

24 posts in this topic

Anyone had this done?

How much is it typically t get a new set of car keys cut?

The case from my keys are falling apart, Looking online for dealer prices i'm looking at £300..... obviously f*ck that

Do local locksmiths do car key replacements?

Will they only replace the key, or can they replace the remote lock?

which car is it for?

depending on the make/model, you might be able to do it yourself easily and cheap. eg. vauxhalls can be done for around 15-20

If your just wanting to replace the worn out key, just get it cut from a local key cutter and then remove the RFID chip to the new key fob.
