Another thing about private school is , from experience unless you are sending your kid to the top schools like eton where all them politicians go a lot of the time they are in the same boat  as people who were state educated once they have left school

They wanted to send me to Paris but My Grandmother thought the distance between Paris/Lyon was too far and they didn't rate the educational system in Lyon

I meet them via Football,Summer clubs,Holidays

I'm surprised by the answers tbh. So everyones ok with their kid growing up in a very predominately white environment? Definitely a highrt chance of him/her becoming a 'bounty' ? I don't even believe in that term but I know how many of you lot do.

Nah I'm just genuinely curious. I think I'd only do it if my child wasn't able to get into a decent state school and only offered a "sink school" and private schooling wasn't an option.

I myself got into a private school but didn't get offered a full scholarship and my parents couldn't afford the fees. I do wonder where I'd be/ what I'd be like if I did end up going

Gone were the days when you had to be middle class to afford private school .

Pretty much the same scenario for me. I dunno how things may have looked though if my secondary school was lacking brothers and i think that's where it counts in those secondary school years.

If anything it taught me how to be able to adapt to both cultures depending on my environment. Plenty people in the hoof can't turn off hood mannerisms. You see it all the time in places like Burger and Lobster. The instagrammers new favourite.
