'Rule 4 is an industry-standard deduction that is made on a horse or dog when there is a non-runner in a race after the final declarations for that race have been made and you have taken a fixed price.'

It may not apply to you specifically though. It really depends when you made the bet.

Yeh rule 4 is a deduction and is a fucking pisstake.. If its for example 40p in the pound the your total returns are basically 40% less.. The lower the odds of the non-runner the higher the deduction is.. If youre on W.h and it says your "potential returns" in the open bets section then its prob already deducted some

E.g if you had a bet before "alive alive oh" was removed then there would be a hefty rule 4 on whatever winning bet you had because in theory your horse has a much better chance without the fav in the race.
