International Week September 2013

Recommended Posts

Costa Rica looking strong still, basically qualified now.

Jamaica drew 0-0, needed a win really.

Still mathematically possible but need 3 wins from 3 in all reality, they got Costa Rica and USA so that looks unlikely.

Still Wes Morgan and Lloyd Doyley at the back looked rock solid, it's a wonder why Mariappa was playing there the whole campaign, fucking retard coaches.

New coach got it a bit better, left Beckford on the bench though, not smart when you need a goal, brought on some local Jamaican, made no sense.

Still not the worse result when playing with 10 men, the defence looks alot stronger so that's something, they will need it.

Kolo Toure offers to change name after fan’s tattoo blunder

Toure_0609.jpg

A Liverpool fan got a tattoo of Kolo Toure’s name misspelt on his foot – so the player has offered to change his name to spare the supporter’s blushes.

In one of the stranger stories to emerge this week, 20-year-old Dom Pearson tweeted a picture of the tattoo-gone-wrong.
The student had been so impressed with the new signing that he decided to pay tribute in ink, although he was on holiday at the time.
He said he was "too p*ssed to notice" that the tattoo artist had spelt the Ivorian defender’s name ‘Kolo Touro’, providing much mirth for Twitter users.

The story went viral, appearing in a variety of newspapers in the UK, with the player himself alerted to the blooper. The former Arsenal and Manchester City stopper the offered to change his name in a re-tweet of the original story:

Why are France so rubbish in front of goal

Don't they create?

Five games without a goal

the ironic thing is

lack of athletes lol

just play pretty possession football on the half way line no penetration

They don't do it right

You not what's mad?

Me and a few cousins were watching Finland vs Spain

after 70 minutes

I was like 'Ice is right about Xavi he is finished'

Everyone was like 'Who the hell is Ice?'

I said some guy I saw in the barbers

Spain passed the ball side ways and back wards for 80 mins it became jarring

France have been cursed when it comes to a CF who can play and score goals
