Seminal electronic music hub Resident Advisor revealed their Top 100 DJs Of 2013 list today, which saw Berliner and Innervisions boss Dixon standing proud at the peak after his #3 showing last year.

Other big moves included Richie Hawtin's slip one spot down to #3 behind Tale Of Us, a brand new act by comparison, coming in at #2. Last year's #1, Seth Troxler, fell four spots to #5.

Since its inaugural edition in 1993, the RA Top 100 has given readers the chance to vote on who they thought had the best year in the DJ world. Much like the site itself, the list is representative of a more traditional definition of DJ when compared with today's DJ/producer-centric focus in publications and top lists like DJ Mag's Top 100, which placed Hardwell at #1 this year, a DJ who is completely absent from the RA Poll.

Here are what we thought were some of the biggest plays of the year:

BIGGEST LEAPS Mano Le Tough
#53 ⬆ #19
Jackmaster
#68 ⬆ #21 BIGGEST FALLS Lee Foss #25 ⬇ #85
Blawan #29 ⬇ #88 NOTABLE NEWBIES Hot Since 82 (#22)
Rødhåd (#38)
Laurent Garnier (#36) HIGHEST-RANKING FEMALE tINI (#12)

Find RA's top 10 compared with last year below, and check out the entire RA Top 100 DJs of 2013 list here

What is their definition of a good DJ though? That top 10 consists of mad technical DJs.

Na, Jackmaster/Numbers is alright out live, his selection and technical mixes are usually on point.

its voted by RA users (you could only vote for the djs that played at events you had attended on the RA site in 2013)

All bullshit imo. Talent wise, there are many that are not on that list. DJ Crazy and A-Trak are the most talented DJs to EVER exist on this planet tbh, both music selection and skill and DJ trophies they have won.

Have you guys ever been to a Richie Hawkins set? Guy stands there like a robot  and raises his left arm once every 10-15 minutes. Guy looked like the devil, playing all that trance music made me think I was in hell for 2 hours! Every flippin tune sounded the same.

I like Onemans selection in raves though & Kerri Chandler actually mixes with vinyl so he gets ratings so is probably more talented than most of the guys on that list.

But anyway, ALL HAIL THE BEST DJ THAT HAS EVERY GRACED PLANET EARTH, INTRODUCING...............................CRAZE.........

Last year I'd have rated Oneman and Jackmaster on-par with each other - both in my top-5 rave/club DJs.

Though this year Jackmaster has seemed to have gone off into a different direction which doesn't really work for me, and the genres that Oneman's stuck with (in my opinion) aren't churning out as much decent music which has caused his sets to lack. Though tbh I haven't caught either in clubs this year (just downloads) so can't really compare.

Don't really know about this year who's top.
