I went to a rave couple of months ago, started talking to this guy turns out he use to live in tottenham but moved away for 10 years and just had come to London to live that weekend. Got talking turns out we both went to the same secondary school he was couple years younger than me. I took his number because we were gonna go eskimo dance together but I never called him. Will make sure I do though guy seems cool. I found it weird making a new friend like that but saying that I did link a girl I got to know by calling the wrong number.

Work is a good place and just being social, met two other guys in a pub took their numbers was suppose to organise a night out. You can make new friends everywhere. Just be carful of what friends you make alie Kurious?

work drinks are definitely the best form of socialising... ur white dons ask u to go for beers after work, before u no it, u find that u click with 1-3 of them... u then do other things or on a friday u speak to them and say lets go here or there

What's confusing about that? You're around a bunch of people who apparently have the same taste in music, everyone's drinking, seems like a decent situation to be sociable.

I'd assume not while the headliner is on stage performing.

I'm sure this is why he said concert though.

You're in a confined space, you don't need to walk up to them and introduce yourself, just smile, try catch their gaze(if their a girl), small talk, pass them a zoot etc.

Well with girls I guess its straight forward.

With guys I'd only be talking to them if I was next to them anyway (e.g. line for drinks, smoking, etc).

Taking contact details from a random guy would only happen if there was some sort of work link though tbh.

Language exchanges. I was goin a couple years ago. Look on fb...they have them for multiple languages or jus one like spanish an u go an nobody knows eachother, some come on their own an its people from other countries who are not only tryon to learn english but also make friends. only thing is english natove speakers never go so u wont make English friends...just foreigners but theres obviously benefits to this

Another thing someone at work told me about was sofa surfers. ..something like that, its a group on fb that organises random nights out im assumin for people who arent fr ldn who want to socialise
