New London transport fares come into effect

Single bus and tram fares on Oyster smart cards have gone up by 5p to £1.45.

 

Peak and off-peak single fares on the Tube, DLR and Overground Zone 1 and off-peak single Zone 1-2 have risen by 10p, while cash fares increased by 20p.

Yeah my monthly Zone 1-4 travelcard has increased by about £5. Gonna get that Santander cashback credit card to reverse it.

Nice they should have had a 24hour service from day. The city is too big and at late hours its long to travel

they should of realised that the % of people travelling in the day is about 97%

 

the percentage of people travelling at night is about 3%

 

SO WHY COULD THEY NOT DO A 24 TING FROM DAY?
