HOW MUCH DO YOU PUT ASIDE TO SAVE...

When u lot get paid, how much do you put aside to save...?

 

10% of the total net income

 

15%?

 

20%?

 

and what is that in terms of money?

 

for me it varies, but i try between 50-70% which is about £1,000 a month

50-70%? You still living at home?

I usually go for about 20-30%. Got a pay rise though on Friday so that'll probably increase

At the moment 0% living that paycheck to paycheck lifestyle.

When I've paid off a few things it'll be 50%.

66.67% at the mo

But that money is going into the business savings acc, which shall be spent soon enough.

Come April I'll be able to save for myself again at similar rates.

Hopefully I get my quarterly bonus to let that start early, got so many things I need to spend on.
