i jus dont understand why people point out the apr on payday loans

the whole point of it is that you pay it off quick, annual aint got anything to do with it

this whole vilification of short term loans companies pisses me off

i can only assume its the big banks doing, me hearing this shit all over the news all the time

it's a healthy business filling a void in the market

people that get themselves into huge debts are just idiots

How is it preying on the poor and vulnerable exactly

They're offering a legitimate service to consenting adults

I kno plenty of lads that have used wonga with no issue, vast majority of people borrow responsibly

How is it any different to homebright or o2 or your gas company or your local council parking tickets

How is it more unethical than the bookies or an off license or tescos or a chicken shop

Supply and demand

well you obviously do not give a shit about Britain or your financially illiterate.

Which is normal probably 95% of the country is.

The application of interest especially to something of the magnitude of 2000% is flawed.

Right now we have a debt based society where most of the country live in debt whether it be mortgage student loan bills loans whatever.

People are going out to get these quick fix loans as they are desperate and have no choice in relieving financial strains.

This debt based society is perpetuating to a point that no longer will it be impossible to pay our debts, it will become impossible to pay the interest!

Now tell me how are institutions such as pay day loan companies helping the economies Debt Cancer?

I'm with you on the debt angle, I'm successfully striving towards a debt free life myself minus the student loan that ive successfully dodged so far

But how did we start discussing the pros and cons of a debt based economy

My point was that its no more unethical than the countless other debts u encounter, I'm not sticking up for debt slavery, no need to start preaching

People aren't using pay day loans cos they've got no choice, it's cos they want some quick cash, don't listen to what the news tells you, obviously some idiots are going to fuck themselves over

It's not relieving financial strains if ur getting urself further in debt, we live in one of the most prosperous nations on earth, save up ur benefits or saink

Capitalism is based on exploitation, don't cry about it jump on board my san

N no mate, I'm way passed giving a shit about Britain, patriotism is for mugs and I am a c*nt
