Genetics and athletic performance

An interesting discussion on genetics and athletic performance, and touches on race and the very different genetics from tribe to tribe in africa.

Not discussed in the vid but more relevant in the UK would be the lack of indian athletes, huge population there and around the world but very rarely produce good athletes, good this be a genetic issue or a cultural issue?

watched a bit earlier seemed interesting.. Real talk tho it shud be generally acknowledged that west africans and their descendants are the kings when it comes to short sprints. Overall tho, there are so many differing factors in regards to race and sports. The key ingredient to success is application.

Read some excerpts of his book last year, agree with him in principle and like the fact he has done extensive research to support his claims cos there are too many people who just dismiss these things.

Regarding Indians it is cultural as far as we can see, we don't know how much genetics play a part because Indians don't support sports much in the home as a future occupation.
