Jose Mourinho claims Arsene Wenger is a “specialist in failure”

Chelsea manager hits back at Arsenal counterpart after Wenger claimed that Mourinho was afraid of failure

A new war of words between Jose Mourinho and Arsene Wenger erupted on Friday when the former claimed that the Frenchman is a “specialist in failure”.

This followed comments from the Arsenal manager on Friday morning that aside from himself and Manuel Pellegrini, other top flight managers were unwilling to claim their team were Premier League title contenders due to an apparent “fear of failure”.

Mourinho has previously courted controversy by describing Wenger as a “voyeur” during his first stint at Stamford Bridge, with the Chelsea boss finding it hard to resist the latest barbs aimed in his direction.

Mourinho said: “He is a specialist in failure. I’m not.

“So if supposing he’s right and I’m afraid of failure, it’s because I don’t fail many times. So maybe he’s right. I’m not used to failing.

“But the reality is he’s a specialist because, eight years without a piece of silverware, that’s failure. If I did that in Chelsea I’d leave and not come back.”

In fact now that I think about it, there is not a single manager in this league that I think Mourinho respects.

:lmao:  there isn't , there was Fergie he went. He kind of rated Wenger but since he's been back i'm beginning to think maybe he never rated Arsene to begin with because what he said today was liberties

Going back and forth with Mourinho is long but you have to say something. To put the media attention on Chelsea because now if arsenal lose games they will just keep saying 8 years lmao

what can u say to a man who keeps winning

the best & probably the only way for arsene, manuel & brendan to get jose back/shut him up/gain his respect (not that they need to) is to win at least two (or 3 in the case of manuel/arsene) of the major trophies
