DM's a luxury if you want attractive football there is no need for one, but to close games down and use in big ties against the giants its useful

Not sure about that.

We were still playing attractive football with the likes of Viera & G.silva.

I will love William carvalho in this our current line up

Viera and Silva were more than mere DM's more like box to box midfielders. Especially Silva he used to score a fair few every season

Germany didn't play with a DM in the world cup. Real Madrid didn't really play with a DM to win the CL etc

Think DM's have died personally. Teams can't really afford a guy that doesn't contribute assists or goals nowadays. Everyone needs to chip in

Besides I think Carvalho is a DM but he has more to his game than defending in the centre circle
