No obviously not, but Lallana given his age and where he is at footballing wise doesn't have the potential upside to justify his price tag ever being cheap.

 

I don't regret us signing him, but i don't think his price tag will ever be looked on as 'cheap'

For myself, technique is purely the profiency of the physical/motor skills of a footballer.

I think a lot of you are combining tactical aspects to it & defining it as technique.

For example, flair isn't technique as such. Flair = Technique (motor) + Creativity (tactical). So someone like Iniesta uses his technique in a creative to beat an opponent i.e. disguised pass, La Croqueta, etc

When I think of a player with tek modric and iniesta are the first 2 that spring to mind then gotze

Then you got technical players that are average overall like dembele

Only english players that is at the forefront of this style right now is lallana as none of the other technical players are rated

As for skill English players are up there IMO got loads of skills usually poorly executed due to lack of tek

How can they be up there if they cannot execute it?
