31 posts in this topic

Five members of a Kingsbury-based gang who hid/buried three firearms, ammunition, heroin and crack cocaine in an area of parkland in Brent have been jailed for over 70 years.

All five men were sentenced on October 24 following a three week trial at Harrow Crown Court.

As part of an intelligence-led operation in January Trident Gang Crime Command officers observed Romaine Callender in a park in Larkspur Close NW9.

After he had left the park, police subsequently attended and searched the area, where he was standing, recovering a quantity of Crack Cocaine and Heroin, with an approximate street value of £2,000.

The next day Callender was seen to return to the same location with Kamran Khan, Aamir Yousef, Tevin Forde and Sean Cephinis.

Shortly after Khan, Callender, Forde and Yousef were stopped in a vehicle driving away from the location and found in possession of a further £3,000 worth of Heroin.

The area in the park where they had been was searched again and three prohibited firearms, namely a sawn-off shotgun, a revolver, a pistol, a de-activated revolver and a magazine for a 9mm SLP were found buried in the ground, along with a further quantity of Class A and B drugs.

Cephinis was later arrested in March and was found in possession of Crack Cocaine and Heroin with an approximate value of £7,000.

them headline reporting tactics there funny when they add up all sentences of co-defandants and say "jailed for total of 100 years" when in reality they will be out in 10 years tops.
