Crowdfunding

21 posts in this topic

I've put money towards a couple of peoples campaigns that reached the target amount and I am very happy that they did as I know some of the people working on them, but what are the pro's and con's of crowdfunding?

Would you do one?

Would you put your money towards someones campaign?

What might make you put money towards doing so?

What might make you not put money towards something like that?

Lol at VIP being the place to ask for this.

It's either

a) You are actually dumb enough to believe VIP2 is the place to ask for this

OR

b ) This is a poor, thinly veiled brag.

Seen much dumber questions asked on here. Could literally list them.

People don't seem to have a problem with questions like...

"Where are you based in London? If you're not living in London, then where are you?"

Just sayin.

The question itself isn't dumb, but VIP2 is a dumb place to post it.

Asking people on VIP2 how they think/feel about crowdfunding campaigns is dumb?

I don't think you and I should address each other any further.

VIP2 and its users have matured since rwd, and even if it hadn't, attitudes like that will only slow the progress. How about make a decent contribution instead?
