I love Warrior.  Had the film on my hard drive for ages but never watched it because I thought it was some bullshit fighting film.  Was very happy I decided to take a chance watching it.

Like I said in another thread, he has been a sideman in alot of his big films. Not only that, but in those roles he's hardly put in a performance that made me think he was ready to be the main star.

 

Although I haven't saw him in Mandela tho.

 

He seems to work much better in TV than in films

Idris film roles have been very patchy,he was decent in Mandela he needs more roles like that. I don't think his really picked his roles wisely. Or really maximised the leverage Luther gave him in the states.

 

Look at guys like David Oyelowo or Chiwetal Ejiofor they've been a lot more successful film wise.
