He'd still be on our screens, making himself and the network money
They might aswell keep him and make the money themselves
Intergrity doesn't pay the bills
People will find something else that they don't agree with the BBC on and their integrity will be questioned again.... the cycle continues

without Jeremy top gear is just any fifth gear getting 200k views a week, weather you like him or not that is a fact.

don't think he's racist, he's pretty lax on his political correctness though, but that's why a lot of people like him, he's one of the few presenters on TV who appear to behave like a normal person without an agenda or care for politics

The BBC should let him go. They have a lot of making up to do as their brand has gone sour over the past couple of years. Keeping him on will serve the critics that they're only out for the almighty pound.
It would be a momentous move if he was sacked, and people might grow to have faith in the integrity of the BBC again.
Personally I want him to stay, even though I barely watch Top Gear anymore.
