thought it was a pretty poorly put together doc tbh
interesting learning about hubbard's background
few things that stood out tho
they seemed to ignore quoting their sources, hubbard's wife's words for example, i assume it was from a diary?
at 1 point the narrater say's something like 'and scientology had run out of money too', then the next second say's they're raking in billions
alot just seemed very vague n non descript
what was the pit about? did they even explain why people started gettin pitted
would have liked to learn more about the infiltrations of government agencies (operation snow white), more about the discrediting of their critics (operation freakout for example) that goes way past the harassment u see on the video, all of which can be read about online n i assume the book that it's based on
they had a decent chance to fully quiz some senior members of the church n didnt seem to make the most of it at all
i did appreciate the drone shots

I'm sure it doesn't air until next weekend on HBO mate. Av been waiting for this since the reception it got at Sundance so will drop a link if I see one as I'll be looking.
