Imperative. Man, Malcolm had the blueprint for our level of consciousness collectively and political engagement. 

 

When you juxtapose his words with our modern day though .... sometimes I can't help but feel that hopelessness, you know. But his journey in this book is so, so triumphant ... really opens your mind about your own ambitions, global thinking, self discipline and the ghetto poison.
