Manchester United’s desperation to sign a right back in the summer transfer window is well documented with the players they have been linked over the past few weeks. PSG right-back Gregory van der Weil, Southampton’s Nathaniel Clyne and and Barcelona’s Dani Alves have all been targeted by the Old Trafford side.

Its no secret that manager Louis Van Gaal wants to replace Rafael while Antonio Valencia, who played as a right back in the 2014-15 season, is not a specialist in the position.

The Red Devils have been linked with Monaco’s Fabinho as French media outlet L’Equipe reported that United made an approach to the French Ligue One side to check over the availability of the Brazilian.

The 21 year old is under contract with Monaco until 2019 but Le Parisien have reported yesterday that that the club could sell the player if their €15m evaluation of the right back is met. The report states that both the Manchester sides are interested while there is also concrete interest from several other European heavyweights. Thus any potential suitor could forward with a deal in the coming weeks.

Looking like he is our next main target to wrap up at the moment

Get the fuck outta here with that hunch talk. My opinion is based on me watching him on a weekly basis throughout his career.

You're just coming with those generic, clueless, talksport caller bars thinking he would struggle to adapt to the almighty pace of the Prem, smh.

Bullet dodged

This is from an article before the end of the season

"By the numbers, the stats have paid homage to his outstanding efforts this season. He’s averaging 2.8 tackles per game, 1.8 interceptions pg and roughly two clearances pg, while offensively he’s managing 1.1 successful dribbles and 1.6 key passes pg. The fact he has also made 10 assists so far this campaign further highlights his wonderful passing game (stats courtesy of WhoScored)."

How have you dodged a bullet?

Meanwhile you was doing the birdman hand rub when Chris 'Top 3 selected CB in the Prem' Smalling extended his contract.

f*cking clown.

Cause if you were the manager you would have bought in hummels init

Released Smalling

Kept Welbeck

Sold Rooney

Bought Mandzukcik

Kept Nani

Not even known who Depay was

What are you talking about?

I knew who Depay was before he was linked with us, I'm not you mate.

Don't know why you think I would've chosen Mandzukic over Lacazette.

And before the Ramos rumours became more serious recently I would've preferred Otamendi over Hummels.

Let's agree that you're a clueless mug that decided to chat shit when he couldn't explain why Alves would struggle @ Bournemouth away like that's the real benchmark and his performances in CL finals and Clasicos are irrelevant.

That Bournemouth bar was banter ,so stop taking shit so seriously.

I've said so many times in the Alves thread to you , toto(porchy)  that I rate him and i would of welcomed his arrival.

I just don't understand why going for a younger player is/was such a bad idea.

Enjoy your 1-2 years Alves has left. Keep scouting fam.

Why are you assuming i'm talking young like Adnan/Wilson age?

Allow your trap door questions

A player that is good enough to make the step up and keep the position for years is the idea here.

Coleman is the perfect example

In the top 10 teams in Europe how many have RB's 32 & over? and please don't try to name drop Lahm.

Yet you lot were adamant on signing Alves (who so desperately wanted to come to us )  and thought he was the best choice in the WORLD for rebuilding this squad that we only just got rid of aged players.

pmsl , You lot are secretly trolling me
