Can Leicester win the league?

160 posts in this topic

The Premier League looked like this in Jan

bpl-table-13.png

wtf is going on?

The signing of Huth was a MAJOR acquisition for them but barring him the starting lineup is virtually the same.

Yes Leicester finished the season strongly and Ranieri is a major coup for them but who could have predicted this even in May?

Thoughts?

No

Southampton had similar form two seasons ago

Swansea two seasons before

It's a very long journey to May

Jan 2014 Southampton had 27 points after 20 games

Jan 2013 Swansea had 30 points after 22 games.

Leicester already have 32 points from 15 games.

That's a next kinda form.

If Vardy and Mahrez stay on form during next year, they will get europa.

They were unlucky to be there

Dominating games

Creating chances

Just conceeding silly goals and not tucking teams away

The man utd 5-3 killed them mentally took a lot out of the team, fans and local media

If you check there form minus a 3/4 month period from aug 2014 for the last few years its mad... They ran away with the championship 102 points including 21 unbeaten

Injuries might kill them

Keep everyone fit and they should get top 6 from this position

If they survive the next 4 games, don't sell in January and avoid any major injuries I'd put money on it

Good sign for them is they seem to be contending less goals.

1 game a week

Barring injuries anything is possible

Thing for me is they're beating the teams they're supposed to and holding their own with the so called top 4

Shout d tinker man

1 game a week, everyone beating everyone, top teams can't put a run together.

I think they can. I don't think they will. However I wouldn't like to predict who's finishing 4th.
