Not quite sure what's gone on with this guy, looks like he has potential, good reports in Spain and France including marking Messi out the game @ Granada.

I understand Rodgers spent big on 2 defenders so will preferably use them but Lovren and Sakho have slipped up enough for this guy to have a few sub appearances atleast.

Goes Villa on loan and Sherwood raves about him in training but doesn't use him, Garde comes in and says he isn't fit.

How can you be fit when you haven't played any real matches this season?

Got a bit of stick against Exeter but I saw some good things again, nice vollyed clearances, decent positioning and good use of the ball at times.

Hope Klopp gives the boy his chance.

Was ok at international youth level defo wondered why he didnt get games
