The Russian President has described the hooligan behaviour as a "disgrace", but has questioned how it happened.

"The fighting between Russian fans with the English, that is a disgrace," he said at the country's annual economic forum in Saint Petersburg on Friday.

"But I truly don't understand how 200 of our fans could beat up several thousand English," he added to laughs and applause from the audience.

LOL. He has a point though. I don't like the violence but these English Fans go there giving it large and then start running from the Russians. It's somewhat embarrassing.

Most of these English fans are scarfers.

Would be a bit different if people's passports didn't get rounded up the week before a major tournament.

It's true. As soon as they got there they were chanting about ISIS etc. Granted it is different, these Russian guys are organized and sent out a bunch of trained fighters to purposely cause trouble. If Bisping and the lads had of gone over there it might be a different story but it's a bunch of beer bellied guys who drink too much and talk too much.
