Separating out the discussion from the smartphone thread.

What apps you guys live by?

 

new version of Messenger (Facebook) on Android has SMS integration, nice to be able to remove another from the list, feel like Whatsapp may have too many features for it to ever be integrated in but it'd be nice to have just one

Hardly ever use FB messenger, actively stay away from it, last resort of communication tbh

I don't really like it: don't like the default tone (just clocked earlier today I could change it), don't like chat heads (I know you can turn them off), don't like the custom emojis, and generally find people less responsive on it

but when you go international and keep switching numbers/phones/etc it becomes a nicer constant than Whatsapp

Whatsapp w/SMS integration would be preferable though
