Damm I thought JME would have been wise enough to purge his twitter of anything that could be portrayed in a dodgy way.

Very sloppy, very sloppy to not know how foul these people move, and has sadly undermined what was a good thing in getting people more aware and registered. The Mail must have been laughing as they came across those tweets. 

Although him over explaining it just makes him look like a bit of a mug.  Those who care know it's twitter jokes the people who would get outraged over this want to be.
