Guys I know who are into boxing who dislike Mayweather don't dislike him because he's black. There are numerous reasons to find him an unpleasant and distasteful human being, and there are numerous black fighters that don't behave like him that don't get hated on. It's slightly ironic that he decided years back that he was going to play the villain in order to sell fights (cos his safety first style ain't selling tickets), and now turns around and complains that he gets treated like a villain. Mayweather himself has made a whole load of racist/ignorant slurs against Pacquiao over the years so I wouldn't start taking the moral high ground where he is concerned
