  1. the home atmospher is sh*t due 2 all the forign glory hunters that sit in the south stand, the stretford end makes the most noise, if they dont start with songs then no1 else does, i get wot kompressor is sayin but the tickets hav always been expensiv,i prefer to go to away matches now then home matches just coz the atmospher is better and the tickets r usually cheaper and easier to get

  2. Sorryfor the essay in advanceI would say all FC United Fans still follow United and want them to do well and watch the games albeit the majority just aren't willing to pay their hard earned money to a club and owners who don't show us or the clubs traditions any respect. There is no hate whatso ever from FC fans towards those that chose to stay everyone made their choice each to their own. thats why if you see any FC united fan he'll invite you along as any United fan welcome whether yo go therejust for a drink and a sing song or because you like watching football matches or you wanna see the team do well its all good. The only thing that pisses me off about some sections of the united support are the ones who are unbelievably against FC as Anderson dun said theres no reason why any football fan should be against the idea of FC united. The only argument you can put against FC and Our supporters is that we're maybe being to Idealistic with our ideas, but if thats a bad thing then so be it. and no offence but this last comment is the reason why OT is f*cked right nowcoz i just could never bring myself to support no1 else over united spesh when were still the most succesfull club in britainso your saying if United were stuggling at the bottom of the league or even got relegated you'd be more likely to follow FC what makes FC so special is because the fans who decided to follow us have given up all the glory and glamour. its never been about how successfull the club is or the danger that "we may never win another trophy again"From when the likes Of Sandy Busby have come out and said this is what his dad would have wanted, 2Olegend donated money and was the patron of ShareholdersUnited. and Giggs and Scholes "reportedly attended game, notto mention Eric Cantona's comments on the club i fully believe we're doing the right thing. Doesn't it piss you off a little that in a season where every other club has either lowered tickets prices or frozen them, Uniteds have risen the fact that in the last couple seasons season tickets have been very easy to come buy and every man and his dog have been receiving e-mails and phonecalls to buy one shows that morepeople are turning their backs on giving the club their coin.
no, if united were fightin relagtion n got relagated id still support em, wot i meant wud why turn ur back on a trophy winnin club for a bunch of ametures yeh i get what your sayin about giving the glazers money and ticket prices but like i said id rather watch the reserves then watch fc united, 5quid to get in lol cant go wrong there can ya and u still seen well known names like tosic, da silva, macheda etcalso i watched footage of fc united on youtube lol the attendance is alot stil, more people go then they do to reserve games which i find abit strange and i thought it was funny how they all stil singin united songs
  3. it wasn't because of the Glazer takeover that was the straw that broke the camels back the idea had been talked about since the 90'stheres a million and one reasons for traditional supporters to have become disolusioned(sp)
so what do fc united supporters think of united supporters, the team, the clubdo they hate us or dont they care what happens at united at all? or is there stil abit of lovecoz i just could never bring myself to support no1 else over united spesh when were still the most succesfull club in britain
  4. if i cant get united tickets al just go watch the reserves lol
i wasnt saying if you cant get tickets,i was saying you should experience going to both within the 1 weekend and then compare and contrast.might open your eyes to alot of things Not saying buy a season ticket or anything
yeh but i think back to why it was started? because they were against the glazer take over all seems abit silly to me
  5. the demo was waste wtf bare slowby the time the player lifts his leg up to shoot he's already been tackledav heard rumours how the game is nuttin like the demo which is hard very hard to believei still think pro has the better graphicsam gonna get it anyway and if it really is that sh*t its gettin sold and fifa is gettin purchased

  7. AN AIR stewardess and former glamour model who left a Phd student scarred for life after a vicious glassing attack in a city bar has had her two-and-a-half year jail term reduced at the Court of Appeal.Drunken Lisa Kee, 29, of Heaton Mersey, Stockport, left Liam Sharratt’s cheek in tatters after twice hitting him with an empty wine glass at Manchester’s The Living Room in November 2007.She was jailed at Manchester Crown Court in February of this year after pleading guilty to unlawful wounding, but today took her case to the Court of Appeal in a challenge to the sentence. And, after hearing arguments against the term, three top judges ruled that she had been too harshly punished and cut her sentence to 21 months.Mr Justice King, sitting yesterday today Wed with Lord Justice Scott Baker and Judge Peter Moss QC, said the sentencing judge had taken too serious a view of the offence and had not taken sufficient account of her mitigation.BanterKee, of Priestnall Road, attacked Mr Sharratt after approaching his group in the bar on the night of November 20, 2007 and engaging in initially light-hearted banter. But the banter turned ugly and, after Mr Sharratt insulted her, Kee ‘flipped’, punched him and threw wine at him, before hitting him twice in the face with the glass. After the attack, she was said to appear shocked at what she had done and gave no comment in an interview with police after she was arrested.Mr Sharratt was left with serious long-term injuries, with scarring for life and post traumatic stress disorder. After the attack, he had to delay his studies by a year and was unable to teach in front of classes.WrongToday, At the appeal court lawyers for Kee argued that the judge was wrong to assess the offence as worthy of a four-year term, before granting her the usual reduction for pleading guilty. The judge had also failed to take sufficient account of her previously impeccable character, the degree of provocation and impact on her own life in losing her career and home, it was argued.Allowing the appeal, Mr Justice King said: “We accept that her personal mitigation in this case is particularly strong.“Taking all the matters into account, our conclusion is this: the starting point after trial for this offending would have been one of three years. That then is reduced to two years to discount for plea of guilty.“But, having regard to the personal mitigation which the judge himself considered merited further discount, we consider it is appropriate to allow this appeal by reducing the sentence to one of 21 months.”ends
