I had 320d at one point, 56 plate, was pretty damn good and liked it alot. Handling/Steering was stiff/firm which was good for me but depends on how you are driving it. Space wise it's nice both back and front with a big boot. Had it for about 12 months but only 6 months on the road and can't remember having to replace/repair anything. I would say opt in for a few extras if you can (sat nav mainly) as centre console on mine was the normal bmw basics which I can't stand.
