IIFYM ftw!! (google it) You can get youR protein, carb and fat intake from anything like chicken and rice to a box of chicken nuggets from McDonalds. People favour what they refer to as "clean" foods as they are not calorie dense so you can eat more of it. You can lose weight and trim up eating McDonalds on a daily basis if you want. This dude is an example of that. http://www.facebook.com/JosefRakichFitness?fref=ts and he has nearly 2000 replies on his own topic on BB.com http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=143295933 There is no "good" or "bad" foods. You see competing bodybuilders eating pop tarts and cereals etc nowadays. Also google LeanGains by Martin Berkhan and see what people eat and still get shredded.
  2. I would download all the videos if you want them as it looks like the channel is shutting down rumours are that the LeanbodyLifestyle name is already in use and he is being sued. I used YTD Video Downloader and downloaded the Playlist Links. It downloads all the videos in one go that way. http://youtu.be/o9LLXYEJBi8

alrite mate - yeh Impact Whey Protein is the best valued one on there and most popular. You dont need the Isolate unless your lactose intolerant imo. If you haven't registered before and order use MP108083 as a referal code and you will get 5% off. I will get some "points" but they are worth hardly anything. Flavor wise I have used.....Chocolate Nut which is nice, Chocolate Smooth again is good, The Mocha and Latte flavors taste more or less the same and taste well nice if you mix it in a blender with Snake Hunter HD. Protein Starbucks!! Look at their Instant Oats too as you mix the unflavored stuff with whey to make a quick meal. Its basically porridge oats ground to a fine powder to make it easier to mix.

FYI - If you like those Rhubarb and Custard hard sweets from back in the day then the Rhubarb and Custard whey tastes exactly like them

also compare to some of the well known brands on protein to scoop percentage Gaspari Nutrition Myofusion is something sh*t like 61% protein per scoop (39g scoop has 24g of protein Optimum Nutrition Gold Whey is the best at 82% (but price tag is crazy) (29g scoop has 24g of protein) Syntha 6 is 50% protein per scoop (44g scoop has 22g of protein) Maxmuscle Promax has 76% protein per scoop (30g scoop has 23g of protein) price tag is stupid Where as Myprotein has 80%+ for a cheaper price. The branded ones (Gaspari and BSN Syntha) put a shed load of fillers in there to make it taste nice. I have had both and they do taste good but not worh the £45+ a tub with about 55 servings

as already said - its no frills. The quality is there but they just have the odd page here and there advertising in magazines not some mr olympia bodybuilder holding a tub etc. Use this code MP108083 and you will get a 5% discount off your first order and ill get some sort of reward points for it (not a lot at all) personally i would jump on this now as I dont think they have added the new VAT hence its still quite cheap I bought some about a month ago and the price is still the same as then. (£14.99 for 1kg to trial Rhubarb and Custard flavour) As for scoop i didnt get any in my bags (i only buy impact whey concentrate) mite depend on which one you buy but they are 65p each and yes the pouches are resealable. Their instant oats are decent too as they are powdered down and can be mixed with your protein powders to make meal replacements.

  10. Need some new beats for the gym. Interested in seeing what other people have blasting through their earphones when they are banging out the weights One of my ALL time favourites for the gym...... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P3oBZ4_TNys
  11. Time are changing and all this Broscience stuff is taking a back seat. Google LeanGains, RippedBody.jp, IIFYM. Foods that I like to use as snacks etc are.... 170 calories with 33g of protein in a tub Mix this with a scoop of protein powder, put in freezer for a bit and you got a nice desert that has 50g+ of protein and less than 300 cals. Add some berries too. This is ideal if you hate the texture of cottage cheese as its smooth. 100 calories, 22g of protein. I always have two of them. They are always £1.00 a pack so quite cheap. Different flavours like BBQ and Tikka. Healthy fats, and its Natural unlike Sunpat etc which has a ton of sugar added. 180 cals 15g of fat with 2.7 saturated, 7g of protein per 30g serving. I add this to protein shakes, mix it with Quark, spread on brown toast etc. 40 cals, 5g of protein and taste fine. Normal ones arent much more calorie wise. The purple cheddar ones are nice too. 100 cals and 18g of protein per tub. Kinda expensive but ok for a snack here and there. Add a scoop of chocolate protein powder and nuts and you got a sweet tasting desert. Myprotein Instant Oats, Fine powdered oats that you can add to protein powder to make a decent snack. Add some peanut butter too and you have a decent homemade gainer shake without all the "fillers" This stuff is 140 cals and 25g of protein. This is good stuff but quite pricey at about £2.00 a pack. I use this when I am out and about for the day.

Playa Den Bossa for me this year - been to San Antonio 3 years in a row and each time it gets more chavvy d*ckheads hitting the strip. I went to Soul City once never again - that is truly an Ibeeeefaill!!!! Looking forward to this year as Bora Bora beach is much nicer than San Antonio and a lot of the big clubs are walking distance from hotel. Space, Sankeys, Pacha, Ushuaia (big!!) with Amnesia about 10-15 mins away in a cab. Never been to DC10 so looking forward to that this year too.

    Advice needed

cuttin carbs after a certain time is just another example of "broscience" all this eating 6-8 times a day every 2 hours, no carbs after 6pm, fasted morning cardio etc etc is imo a load of rubbish. You gain weight by eating too many calories - you lose weight by eating less calories. Its cals in vs cals out. If to lose weight you need to eat 2500 cals, you could have it over 5,4,3, or even 2 meals. You could eat 2500 cals of pasta if you wanted...is it advisable...obviously not as you would feel like sh*t with all that gluten, wheat being digested, but you would still lose weight if you are eating at a surplus. Carbs after a certain time is also a myth - how does your body know wot time it is and why is it a specific time not 8pm or 10pm or 12pm (Dorian Yates words not mine lol) Like Mesnut said, there are many routines, etc but you gotta stick to something for at least a few months to know if it works. Get a solid weight lifting routine. Go to bodybuilding.com and look at the "find a plan" tab on there if you need some guidance if stronglifts isnt your thing. as previous post look at leangains for diet advice, Do weight training 3 times a week with cardio 2-3 times a week and results will follow
