Got rid of the note 8 and went back to IOS with the X.
Even I think I am stupid but I can’t help just preferring the feel of iOS and the ease.

Same.i don't use my PS4 or Xbox really anymore. No arguments over the TV. I just pick up the switch and play when I can.

Switch is killing it. Only released 4 AAA titles and it's outselling both the PS4 and Xbox. Becoming the fastest selling Nintendo console in history.
The strategy was on point.

Marriage I don't regret. I love my wife, she's my world.
Weddings, engagement rings etc... Stressful. When you accumulate savings and see it all disappear in the blink of an eye that shit hurts your soul. Gifts will never make up for your outlay and you will be several k in the hole when all is said and done. If I could have my day again and if families weren't involved it would be a registry thing and a party with my closest friends and family. That being said it was never going to happen then and would never happen now.

I got the Note 8. My first android phone in 5 years. Made that leap from IPhone.
I really like it. The pen is handier that you would think. Personally prefer the boxier shape compared to the S8. It depends. Q30 has a more typical aspect ratio so for a phone that big it will be more cumbersome to use unless you have bigger hands. But I'm glad I moved over. I was so underwhelmed by the iPhone X announcement that th next day I ordered the note 8 on preorder.
The main thing that put me off the V30 is that it doesn't look like a premium handset. But it is cheaper than the note 8 so there in lies the compromise.

London is rife with gang, knife and violent crime. We all know this. I'm not saying stop and search tightening is the only reason. But it's a reason. Other than that I have no biases. I present what I believe to be facts / my views as I see them is all.

Ultimately knife crime in London is up 14% per latest statistics . It can't be coincidental that this is following tightening of stop and search.

I've jumped off the iPhone hamster wheel. Got myself a note 8 after being on iPhone since the 3G.
Had a couple of android phones along the way which I sold after hating them. Namely the galaxy s3 and xperia z2. The built quality was always lacking or felt clunky. But android phones have come a long way.
Loving the note 8 so far and the freedom of android and don't think I will be going back. My layout, app icons, clock widgets. Everything is custom.

No. I will be pissed. But I am also realistic that brown folk are the ones blowing people up. When I get stopped at an airport it's 5 mins Max and on my way. I'm not even Muslim but congnisant also that my race or religion cannot be deciphered solely from my appearance. Like I said it sucks for the innocents but please tell me what measures can be taken instead for the prevention of violent crime including knife and gang related crime. Stop and search is the only preventative method that works in my view. I for one want things prevented before someone gets a stabbed rather than a murder investigation. In the same way that I want terrorism prevented, rather than a manhunt after the fact. Unfortunately to have this you need to take the rough with the smooth.

The man was found innocent in a court of law. Don't get me wrong. The man killed them but his sentence for this was just a crafty way of subverting the double jeopardy laws.

Of course people are racist. If you fundamentally dislike someone or think then inferior on the basis of race. Then you are racist.
Most people including those on here look down on Somalians. Even if they have no ill feeling to any other race they are by definition racist.
I'm surprised it's only 1 in 4. It is definitely more. People are just hiding their opinions and true thoughts because of The stigma / embarrassment of holding such opinions.

Yes the police at institutionally racist. But you need to take in to account that stop and search is targeted and for good reason. Ultimately violent and knife crime is disproportionately committed by young black men in London. So ultimately if the police want to have preventative measures work they need target those groups who are the cause. Just like target tong terrorism involves monitoring Muslim communities.
Not saying it is always right but what other option is there?
