  2. Half way point. Hit or Flop Rojo £16m + Nani 10 games Blind £14m 8 games 1 goal Di Maria £60m 12 games 3 goals Herrera £30m 9 games 2 goals Shaw £27m 7 games United have played 18 games so far
  3. The latest rumour. How much truth is there in this and would you rather see him that Di Maria. Personally I would rather keep DM.
  4. How do you feel about our season? Happy with how it ended under one season of LvG? Who would you like to see come in or go out? Prospects for [ice]Mechanical Era[/ice] season 2? Me personally the were a few bright spots... More shitty spots. Losing on opening day. Losing to Leicester. 3 losses in a row to Chelsea, Everton and WBA all but killing our chances of third. Getting BODIED by MK Dons Lolsmh. 62 goals scored Smh. We all know I think the team is hella dry. Rooney top scorer with like 14 goals. SMH. Honestly not sure if we improved that much to finish 3 places higher or if the league got shitter. New striker please. No Cavani. Some quality in midfield. Quality in defence and a new GK if David does go. AKA quality everywhere or I forsee another lackluster season for 15/16. How about you guys?
  5. / I have been one of his biggest defenders over the last 4/5 years but I have had enough now This was his season to step up but everytime he is one on one with an attacker it feels like a mistake waiting to happen He is 27 and should be entering his peak now, think its time to move him on and upgrade him I have almost 0 trust in him now, really expected him to become our leading CB with a new signing and thought he would thrive being a ball playing CB but I think this summer is time for him to go Everton or Southampton, a team with less pressure and more defensive protection and organisation Thoughts?

Gary and phil neville's dad had a heart attack yday. Unfortunately he didn't make it. Rip Neville
  7. Think we should just have a place to drop these & other club related vids Newcastle Pre game Confrence -
  8. Squad to be announced today. Depay, Darmian, Schweinsteiger and Schneiderlin will all fly out. Nothing concrete on youngsters yet. Full squad will be released later on today.
  9. I don't understand how Van Gaal can be complaining about this when A) He let Nani go He let Zaha go C) Di Maria is going D) Rooney is our 9 E) We focus on risk aversion and slow possession football F) Welbeck was sold G) Kagawa was sold We've been one of the slowest teams in the league for a couple years now That's one of the reasons I didn't want Kagawa or Welbeck to leave especially. Nice bit of pace and acceleration. By the time Rooney controls the ball the counter is over and the opps have got the bus back in front of goal He seems to be really confused about what he wants
  10. Who needs the boot then? IMHO Evans RVP Nani Lindergaard Cleverly (is he still on our books) Powell Valencia Hernandez Henriquez
  11. Welbeck Kagawa Butner Zaha Bebe Evra Nani Vidic Rvp Cleverley Fletcher Macheda Ferdinand Anderson Pending this summer -------------- Rafael Evans Hernandez Valera Henriquez Think that's most people He basically shifted everyone who people were waiting on to fulfil their potential and injury prone people bar Jones and others he has signed after Moyes for better or worse would have never had the guts to change the face of the squad so soon Once the new season starts it could just be De Gea, Valencia, Young, Smalling, Jones, Carrick, Fellaini, Mata and Rooney left from pre Van Gaal (could be forgetting couple names) Any sales you think were wrong looking at their career since departing? Or anyone you would've liked to stay and be given a real chance under Louis?
  12. Looking like he is our next main target to wrap up at the moment

  14. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jYLS5Zfupsw https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1BL8_OkAqOY Its a shame that even with all the injuries we have faced at the back this year that Thorpe has not had a chance. Even before the season started it was clear he was the best natural defender out of McNair, Michael Keane and Blackett. If not with us he will definitely have a PL career if he continues to develop how has so far.
  15. Jones, Rojo and Carrick all ruled out still. Blind is a major doubt but could still feature. Rafael out for the season with a broken rib. Janajuz is out too. Evans returns from suspension. Rvp is still not considered match fit enough. So I would expect the same 11 as last week. Can't see Evans starting with no matches under his belt. I am guessing Martinez will go double pivot, McCartney on Fellaini and Barry to the left watching Mata and Rooney. Can't see Young getting the better of Coleman this week either so I would be happy for Di Maria to start with that extra quality. Hopefully Barkley starts behind Lukaku and not Naismith - could see his movement causing Ander and Valencia problems. Rooney to have his usual shit game vs Everton too.
  16. One of the better performances today. Was a bit anxious thinking that he may get targeted by Drogba today but he held his ground well. It was also very enjoyable watching him dribble forward, he is easily the most composed on the ball out of all our cbs. I was less nervous today then I would have been with Evans starting that is for sure. It would be interesting to see him play in Carricks position next week if he hasn't recovered in time. Has the potential to be a very disciplined and effective cog in our team working under a coach like Van Gaal who rates him highly.
  17. Was confident up until about 10 minutes ago. Blind Rojo Carrick Jones Evans still suspended. ----------------De Gea-------- --tony---smalling---mcnair---shaw--- ---------—----Rooney------------ ---------herrera---Fellaini--------- ----Mata---------------------Young--- -----------------Falcao------------ We had a good run lads.
  18. Louis van Gaal has revealed Manchester United will be the last club he manages before heading into retirement. The 63-year-old confirmed in an interview with the Daily Telegraph that he plans to walk away from football completely when his time at Old Trafford comes to an end. Van Gaal has overseen an improvement in United's fortunes since taking over from David Moyes and they head into their last seven games in the hunt for a Champions League return. But the Dutchman says the time has come for him to think about his family, as he said: "I am old. This is my last job. For sure. "I have to pay attention to my kids, my grandchildren but also to my wife. They deserve it. Now I cannot pay that attention. I was not at the birthday of my grandson for example. I don't like it. "My wife wants to quit now already! Five years ago! "I have a paradise in Portugal. I want to quit to go there, play golf, eat fantastic food. "There is the beach, the very beautiful weather. I don’t want to travel. Everyone wants to touch my body in the airports; it is always peeping because I have an artificial hip. I am the only one who has been controlled every time when we fly. I don’t like it. It’s better to sit down in my – our – paradise." But Van Gaal is already thinking about what challenges lie ahead for him at United, with his aim to go out at the top in the Premier League and Europe. Asked about the Champions League, he said: “That’s our goal, yes, and it depends on how we end this season. "We have to qualify for the Champions League and we have many tests next year. That also develops the level of your team, and of course how many players can come in to improve our selection." He would not be surprised if the next United manager is already part of his backroom team, or even one of his players. Van Gaal revealed how senior members of his squad have taken time to help with team preparation, most notably England midfielder Michael Carrick. He added: "(Wayne Rooney) He’s very open to learn. It’s amazing. I don’t know if he speaks with his wife Coleen about football, I don’t think so. But we have the process of talking here. Most of my players of my selection are open and that’s very nice. “Carrick is more or less a trainer-coach. He is also willing to talk about shapes and systems. That’s nice. Rooney also. Not every player is very open and then you have to convince him, and then you get a struggle. It works or it doesn’t work. Give them time. Also give me time to do it.”
  19. comes like a 3 stage interview for the players lol
  20. Even with Di Maria serving his one match ban I would be very tempted to start the exact same 11 as today. If Rafael was more match fit I would trust him over Valencia with the pace and movement of Sterling, Countinho and Sturridge. With Herrera and Carrick in midfield I feel comfortable of dealing Allen and Hendo.
