TV favourites Noel Clarke and Ashley Walters have joined forces to star in the action comedy Bulletproof, coming to Sky One on 15 May.
Clarke and Walter play police duo Bishop and Pike, who fight crime together on the streets of East London. As best mates, they know what makes each other tick as they were brought to together by their shared moral code, even though they had drastically different upbringings.
We know and love Clarke as the bad boy and director of the Kidulthood film series as well as a stint in Doctor Who. His on-screen partner in crime, Walters, made it to the mainstream as the protagonist - Dushane - in Top Boy. He also has a CV full of movies, including Get Rich or Die Tryin’.
Not only do the acting duo bring the story to life on the screen, they have been busy behind the scenes as creators of the series, alongside Nick Love (The Football Factory).
'Humour, action and emotion'
Sky has described the series as “packed full of humour, action and emotion, Bulletproof is about friendship, conspiracies and ghosts from the past.”
Star and co-creator Noel Clarke said: "I’m ecstatic that the show Ashley, myself and Nick created is here. We’ve worked many years in the industry, but never all together. We've grown and evolved as artists and this will be a series that fans and non-fans alike will be drawn to. Enjoy the ride!”
