Rafa BenitezHe is under the most pressure this season without a doubtLiverpool have lost 30 games in 3 seasons in the league & there league form under Rafa has been mediocre at times.Only luck in cup competitions has saved Rafa's bacon- The goal that never was against Chelsea- The crazy final against AC Milan- Gerrard scoring in the FA Cup final went he couldn't even run- Beating Barca this year, Dinho hitting the post...The final against AC Milan this yr exposed Rafa and hes luck is finally running outGerrard wont accept another poor season in the league, neither will the scoucers....He has always spent money but this year he has spent alot of moneyI think he will be sacked this yearAlso Jol could be in trouble, if he begins to tinker with his team too much I can see Spurs fans & players turning on him.
livepool aint a sacking club, especially when it wont be easy to replace him. yeah hes under pressure but if he takes us to another champs league final and wins it its nothing. and i dont get how it exposed him???? it exposed what liverpool were lacking nothing more. its like saying wenger wil be sacked if he dont win nothing!!still alot of managers are underpressure its the whole point of managing a big club.

Its between Benitez and Jol for me cause of the money thats been spent. Neither are getting sacked but Benitez needs to be at least in the title race from start to finish and Jol needs either top 4 or a cup. Fergie and Wenger aen't under that much presure really.

Your hero Benitez is under serious pressureIn his 1st season when you got dumped outta the FA Cup at Burnley, Liverpool fans wanted him out but the Champions League run saved him...Then the whole fiasco with Gerrard playing outta position in 05/06, plus Morientes failing put more heat on Rafa but the FA Cup run eased the pressure...Then last season, outta the title race by October, getting dumped outta both cups by Arsenal at HOME, Liverpool fans were calling for his head but the win against Barca saved him yet again.Like I said his luck has run out, he wll either do extremely well without flukes & luck or get sacked.

lol in that case wenger should start packing his bags because if he makes one mistake he should be gone by your standards.tooo many people believe the hype that the sun spits out, people were obviously disappointed about all that sh*t but mans done alot for the club soo nah he wont be sacked if he dont win anything this season.

Anelka your chatting so much sh*t.Ronaldinho hitting the post? You seem to be forgetting that Riise and Momo hit the woodwork in the same game. The crazy Final against Milan? since when is a comeback luck, it showed the motivational skills of Benitez and the character of the team.the goal that never was against Chelsea? You missed out that their keeper would have been sent off and we would have had a penalty.Your points are stupidly flawed.

Wenger is proven at this level, Wenger knows how to win the Premier League, Wenger doesnt tinker with his team every game etcBenitez even tricked Liverpool fans into thinking Gerrard (the best player) was a liability in CM, a position that hes played for years holding & breaking. When infact its Alonso who is the problemBenitez is a con artist

Anelka stop talking wet. Liverpool do not sack managers willy nilly so benitez will not be sacked this season if he dont win the trophy becuase quite simply there arent many other mangers who will come in and bring us instant successs soo it would be pointless.Wenger is proven at prem level. Benitez is proven on the continent whats your point.Fact remains if youre manager of Liverpool, Chelsea, Man United Or Arsenal then you are always under pressure end of. Liverpool have spent money but Man united have spent more and they have won the league soo how does that give us an instant right to win the prem, think before you type. And all this rotation bullshit Benitez is not the only manager that does it heres some facts,Except, of course, it's not true. shaddManchester United won last season's league title with Alex Ferguson having made a total of 118 changes to his Premiership line-ups throughout the campaign, at an average of 3.11 changes per game. The season before that, Chelsea won the league with Mourinho also having made 118 changes to his Premiership line-ups throughout the campaign, again (obviously) at an average of 3.11 changes per game. So how many changes did Benitez make in 2006/07? You guessed it, 118 changes to his Premiership line-ups throughout the campaign, at what the eagle-eyed among you will know recognise as an average of 3.11 changes per game. Ah, but in 2005/06, Benitez must of gone crazy with the rotation? Indeed he did, with an outrageous and outlandish 119 changes, at an average of 3.13 changes per game: a miniscule 0.02 more than the last two title-winning teams.Rotation is not a problem so stop that talk.

Fergie is under pressure. That is the reasons for his purchases this summer as has been indicated by someone in this topic. He has bought players because he knew the likes of Liverpool and Chelsea were going to strengthen their squads. Also bar last season our champions league runs have been poor and has also been a large contributing factor to why he has spent such large sums.Wenger is under pressure, he has sold what can only be described as Arsenal greatest ever premierships player and has not strengthened to the degree that the clubs surrounding him have. Last season was a trophyless season for Arsenal and another poor showing in the league combined with a lack of cups both domestic and European could see him end his long standing relationship with the club. Spurs are a genuine threat to his 4th place which also adds to the pressure that he is facing.Mourinho is under pressure. He lost his premiership crown last season for the first time since he arrived at the club and barring a very tightly fought FA cup final the season could have finished trophyless. He has yet to win that elusive champions league trophy and is facing mounting pressure from Abramovich, he is apparently not 100% in control of his team affairs due to interference by the Russian Billionaire and only champions league success will ease the pressure. He may even be expected to win the champions league in combination with premiership to keep his managerial status secure.Benitez is in much the same situation as Fergie. Liverpool have not had a really competitive Premiership campaign where they were actually in contention. Liverpool's Champions League campaigns which included a victory and a final and FA cup final win were his saving graces, if he fails to win a trophy this season he will not be fired probably but may face greater pressure to succeed in all competitions or face the sack.Jol is under pressure. Spurs have spent a lot of money in the summer transfer window, this is not a usual activity for spurs and as a result Spurs fans and those associated with the club must be expecting a either a minimum 4th place league finish or a domestic or even European cup win. One of these is probably a minimum for Jol to keep his managerial status at spurs since he has already faced pressure in the preceding season before their eventual 5th place finish.Curbs is under a little bit of pressure. Obviously expecting a better league run that what occurred in the preceding season but a top 10 premiership finish would be enough to satisfy most fans and club associates.Keane is under pressure in my view. He has spent more with Sunderland last season and during this summer transfer window than sunderland have probably ever spent before in a similar time period. These expenditures have been with the view of securing premiership survival. If Sunderland fail to secure premiership survival Keane will not be fired in all probability but would severely diminish his power and command within the club.Martin O'Neil must have a better campaign in the prem than previously.Sven must finish well ahead of the relegation battle and is probably expected to push top 10 if not actually achieve top 10 since he has signed a lot of players and spent a fair bit of cash.
