Champions League 3rd Q Round 2nd leg.

By Richard Clarke Arsène Wenger has one defender out and one defender back for the Champions League qualifier with Sparta Prague on Wednesday night. Bacary Sagna is sidelined after injuring his lower back in Saturdayâs 1-0 win over Manchester City.Philippe Senderos was named in the side for that game but tweaked his ankle in the warm-up. As it turned out, the problem was not serious and the Swiss centre half is available against the Czech champions. Apart from that switch, Arsène Wenger has the same squad available. âThe injuries are Eboue (ankle), Gallas (groin) and Lehmann (Achilles),â said the Frenchman at Tuesdayâs press conference. âSagna is injured too with a kick in the back but he should return for Portsmouth on Sunday. Senderos is back in the squad.â

Given their 2-0 lead from the first leg, Arsenal should reach the Champions League group stage for the tenth successive year with something to spare against Sparta, with most interest focusing on Cesc Fàbregasâs encounter with Tomas Repka after their clash in Prague.âRepka was always a committed player, but you must understand when you watch the television and see what he has said, itâs difficult to accept,â Wenger said. âI donât worry about Cesc. Itâs part of being young and impetuous and in showing character. We have to show that you cannot say anything about our team.âTeamsArsenal (possible; 4-4-2): M Almunia â J Hoyte, K Touré, Gilberto Silva, G Clichy â T Walcott, M Flamini, F Fàbregas, T Rosicky â E Adebayor, Eduardo.Sparta Prague (possible; 4-3-3): T Postulka â Z Pospech, T Repka, M Kadlec, J Kladrubsky â M Husek, M Abraham, P Horvath â J Rezek, M Kulic, L Dosek.Referee: F de Bleeckere (Belgium).Television: Live on ITV4 from 7.30pm (kick-off 8.05pm).
