In August 2013, ITV bosses confirmed that Coronation Street star Chris Fountain, who played mechanic Tommy ­Duckworth, had been sacked.

The decision was made after Fountain posted online videos where he posed as masked rapper The Phantom and spouted obscene lyrics.
