The Funkystepz trio are little by little re-energising dancefloors across the capital. Anyone who caught their set at the Hyperdub Boiler Room recently will probably be up on the type of energy and low end sonics they're pouring into their potent brew of funky come grime but if you missed it, this trio of London based producers are fusing borderline pop with everything that we fell in love with about UK funky. There's swagger, production nous that gives their tracks an almighty presence on a weighted system and an inhuman catchiness to a lot of there productions - probably just a few of the reasons Kode9 signed them up for a 12" on his critically lauded Hyperdub imprint.

Ahead of a set in Room Three next Friday, where West London's YoYo club are preparing to storm the show with a lineup that leans heavily into the house tempoed 'bass' world, Funkystepz have been kind enough to provide you with a promo mix. A succint and danceable ride through a ton of their own productions and more.
