When WWE Superstar CM Punk took the microphone last night at the conclusion of RAW, the highly-rated wrestling program on USA Network, it looked like he was going to continue building his storyline of leaving the WWE with the championship belt in hand. Here’s a video of what occurred, taken by what appears to have been a member of the audience:This is not the first time that wrestlers have used the ‘real world’ to influence their story lines. It has happened several times in the WWE before and TNA Wrestling has been doing that very thing quite liberally in it’s programming for some time now.But something tells me that while Vince McMahon will let CM Punk call the championships in the WWE ‘imaginary brass rings’ and invoke the names of wrestlers and managers let go by the organization (Paul Heyman, Colt Cabana) he draws the line at insulting his family.That’s why I think his microphone was cut off when it was and why it appears that CM Punk has been ‘suspended indefinitely’ by the WWE, just weeks before his contract was to expire.In the world of ‘sports entertainment’ where the lines of reality and make-believe seem to blur so readily – although not always convincingly – it would be a shame if the WWE didn’t let this angle come to its conclusion.*****Read my interview with CM Punk from last winter by clicking HERE.

He isn't suspended its all part of the storyline with Cena.Contract is legit up and he will leave, give it a year, 18 months then he'll return.What he said was bang on the money, they will allow them to do their own thing and have some creative control. Will he catch some heat?No more than he has had in the past. The promo was one of the best they've done in years!
reminds me of summer of punk at ROH... was looking for video but its not therewhere he said hes leaving when his contract is up but ended staying longer.........with everyone trying to get the belt off him before he left for wwe and he just kept beating people in clean.might be doing something similar.... reckon his contract goes longer then mitb ppv........
