Cool Edit Pro wont record

I havent had Cool Edit since my laptop was rebooted but i finally got a copy again before but now when i try record a mix im doing (witha usb mixer) it doesnt record any soundAny help?SafeBtw, it aint my mixer cuz it used to work when i had Cool Edit ive been recording with Audacity lately because i was too lazy to look for a crack of Cool EditThink i need to change the settings in Cool Edit...

You clicked the "R" button on the track that you wanna record on?Goto tools>windows default mixer (or something like that) change it to whatever input you got your mixer plugged intoIf that dont work then god knows whats wrong
