Carrick isn't in, no.Anyway........................James,Brown, Ferdinand, Woodgate, Cole.......................Barry,...............Gerrard, Lampard,Beckham............................. Cole....................Rooney.Not much pace, but I want to see Beckham play further up the pitch, so he doesn't have to get back as much.Wouldn't be suprised if Beckham played centre mid instead of Lampard and Bentley played wide right.Capello played Beckham in the middle during the last few games at Madrid didn't he?

4-2-3-1 >>>>>> 4-4-2 for england. good striker (rooney), good attack minded wide players (bentley and joe cole), good attacking mid (gerrard), good defensive mids (hargreaves and barry) = 4-2-3-1. 4-4-2 has been tried so many times, people love the play it simple, it dont f*ckin work they need to take some risks and see if it works its a friendly its exactly what its for. Gerrard and mr. Ricochet dont work together in the centre either cant u see that, one can defend one cant the one that can is better at attacking then the one that cant. simple tactics not to play them together.

like say england havent played that before.and how many more times do we have to see that formation and that XI fail before it sinks into peoples heads the best players dont make the best team

England have had that before just without brown and james which wont make a difference.4-2-3-1 will work better than 4-4-2 has. Playing 4-4-2 and it dont work are u gonna keep using it???
