How she did it i'll never know.Don't rate her one iota.
The 22-year-old Londoner, who won the X-Factor talent show in 2006 and is managed by the show’s creator and judge Simon Cowell, appeared on Oprah Winfrey's talk show earlier this month to promote the single.
Still she gets ratings. She used her head and took it international unlike the other "winners"
she has absolutely f*ck all to do with any of her marketing. Unlike the other "winners" Simon Cowell saw she had potential and invested in her accordingly.And well done to her, another english woman singing in a fake american accent - no wonder the americans take our music so seriously.
When anyone sings it's automatically in american accents, either that or lilly allen/ellis baxter type shite.

of course it matters, ppl laugh at guys like tuggawar all the time - ppl moan about americans think this and that about us but we don't give them anything that doesn't sound like we haven't ripped it right off them. it's a shame that we're so brainwashed by american culture we can't even sing in our own accents.

Have you ever thought that the reason why people don't sing in their own English accents because not many people would like it and it limits the person's singing voice.

She's a good singer, ends there, say what she want but she didn't earn her stripes, pay her dues whatever whatever.She entered a singing competition and won.Simon Cowell 4TW.
