EA have tabled a massive offer for rival games company Take 2.Last year EA took over activision to become the biggest games software company in the world and this new move for Take 2 is being seen as a move to truelly stomp out the competition.Take 2 currently has on its book 2KSports, the main rival to EA Sports main competitor in the sports in America mainly...... But EA are more intersted in another company on Take 2s books.Rockstar is part of Take 2 so the offer, if accepted would also bring Rockstars big games into the EA Franchise. Rockstars games include Bully, Manhunt and what is expected to be 2008s biggest game Grand theft Auto.To this point Take 2 have rejected numerous offers for the company from EA but this last one is substantial and is being heard to be considering it. Though with the imminent arrival of GTA4 coming, Take 2 has opted to cease negotiations till after the release of GTA4.
