Wanna hook up my Ipod to my Car

Im wanting to hook up my Ipod Nano to my soon-to-be-bought car so that i can play all the songs from the ipod through the car speakers. Whats the best way of doing this, and whats the best peice of kit to buy? I dont want anything too fancy, just somthing that will do the trick. The car has a CD player ( its a Ford Fiesta 05 plate with standard ford fiesta 2005 model cd player) and i wanna hook it up through there. Not really bothered if you can charge your Ipod whilst playing in your car, if anything id prefer it NOT to do that! Got the mains charger here.ANY suggestions would be such a help, safe

i doubt theres a aux connection on the player . . .i think u can cop a new 1s for less then 100 . . .

Get an Ipod to CD-Changer Input cable.If your CD player has a CD Changer input on the back.If its a cheap Head Unit, chances are it wont have any sort of input. Give us the model name and Ill check it out for you.

£30 or less, u can buy iScream or ipod fm transmitter.. no need for costly modifications.. just plug in... set the frequency, navigate to that on your car stereo... roberts your mums brother..

If you got cassette they're sick still, better than fm transmitters.But allow having cassette these days lol.

Anything other than an actual ipod compatable stereo is absolute sh*t trust mei tried about 4 different products before i purchased the Alpine ipod stereo was about £300 but the quality is great the sound quality on anything that wrks through frequencies is sh*tif you dont mind sh*t quality then buy anything but i advise swapping out your whole stero tbh.

thanks everybody for the advice on hereso it dont seem its as easy as getting a cable, linking that to the ipod straight to the cd changer then?aint really on paying out 3 bills for a cd player still, i gotta get a few scratches sprayed on the near side door before dropping dough on a stereo
