The way Rooney and Cleverley linked up tonight was promising. A lotta Man Utd fans talk about lack of creativity but some take Rooney's exceptional passing range, vision, striking from range for granted. I wanna see Kagawa play as an attacking box to box Central Midfielder alongside Cleverley and a Defensive Midfielder and Rooney in his usual second striker/play maker position.

In the same way Barca have decided they don't need a number 9, Fergie being the pioneer he is has decided he wants to do this thing with no Midfield.

If Modric, Zidane, Lampard, Sniejder, Scholes (in his prime) Gazza and most other great attacking central midfielders played as CM's why can't Kagawa do so with a ball winning holding Midfielder beside him? and let Rooney play in his best and favorite position behind the striker? let Kagawa focus on being creative in the centre of midfield with a tackling midfielder there beside him but also help out defensivley when he has to and let Rooney score his usual 30 plus goals and double figure assists in the hole.
