Seen this on other sports forums thought it would be a decent idea post up the best players in your youth sides and from others that have impressed youEmiliano Insuaemiliano_insua.jpgEmiliano Adrian Insúa Zapata (born January 7, 1989) is a 19-year-old Argentine left-back who had previously played for Boca Juniors, but signed for English Premier League club Liverpool on 28 November 2006, to join the club in January 2007 on loan. The left back did not make the first-team breakthrough at La Bombonera, but has been tipped for a bright future.Reds scouts Frank McParland and Eduardo Macia highlighted Insúa's potential to Rafa Benitez and a deal was finalised.Liverpool will take the player on an initial 18 month loan period [1] for which they paid nearly £100,000 - after which point they will pay a further £1 million to finalise the move[citation needed]. On 28th of April 2007, Insúa made his first start for Liverpool in the Premiership away game against Portsmouth.Insúa currently represents Argentina at Under-20 level. He was picked to form part of the 20 man Argentina squad for the 2007 South American Youth Championship in Paraguay, and helped Argentina to win the the 2007 FIFA U-20 World Cup in Canada. His loan move has since turned into a permanent deal, as part of Gabriel Paletta's transfer to BocaPlayer similarities-Roberto Carlos minus the constant shootingKrisztian Nemeth20070526nemeth245.jpgKrisztián Németh (born January 5, 1989 in Győr) is a Hungarian football player who currently plays for Liverpool. He was signed from MTK Hungária FC in 2007, alongside András Simon, and is expected to initially play in the Liverpool reserve team.Krisztián was a star of the Hungary squad that reached the 2006 UEFA European Under-17 Football Championship finals in Luxembourg, and recently scored seven goals in three matches for the U19s in a mini-tournament in Cyprus. He is widely regarded as an upcoming talent and has been tipped for a bright future at the Merseyside club.Németh made his debut for the Liverpool reserves on the 27th of November 2007 against Manchester City scoring twice in the first half, while also hitting the post. A week later, he scored another two goals in the Mini-Derby vs. Everton Reserves, and added a 5th goal in three games against Middlesbrough Reserves sending his team to top of the Premier Reserve League North. He later started for the reserves against Sunderland Reserves and skillfully lobbed the keeper giving Liverpool the win and sending them five points clear at the top of the reserves league. In April 2008, Németh scored the only goal of the game against Blackburn Rovers Reserves which secured the Premier Reserve League North title. He is expected to make the step up to first-team football within the coming year and Rafael Benitez appeared more than confident in his ability to do so.Player similarities- Mauro ZarateAstrit Ajdarevicajdarevic.jpgAstrit Ajdarevic (born 17 April 1990 in Kosovo, Yugoslavia) is a Swedish professional football player currently playing as a midfielder for Liverpool FC youth team, he is of Albanian descent from Kosovo. He has recently represented his country in the qualification rounds for the UEFA European Under-17 Football Championship.[1] Sweden however were knocked out in the elite group phase. On 5 December 2006 Ajdarevic completed a second trial at Liverpool and transferred soon afterwards to the club, having impressed the club's coaching staff. Reports suggest that depending upon appearances the transfer fee could rise to as much as £750,000.[2]He made his Liverpool youth team debut in the FA Youth Cup victory against Reading in January 2007.He has been likened to Patrick Berger, partly due to his left footedness and style of play, but mostly because of his striking physical resemblance. Heirachy at Liverpool regard as Astrit Ajdarevic as one of the most talented young players in Europe. He is considered to be Liverpool's most talented youth player at the young age of 18.[3]Player Similarities-Xabi Alonso or Partick BergerPlus Lauri Dalla Valle,Adam Pepper,Gerardo Bruna,Nathan Eccleston,Jay Spearing stcLiverpool have easily the best youth team in england

TBH until your side wins a youth cup you cant talk we even knocked you out of the fa youth cupalso add this guy to the equation check the Maradona quoteGerardo Bruna (born 29 January 1991 Argentina) is an Argentinian football attacking midfielder. He is currently signed to Liverpool F.C.Liverpool signed Bruna from the Real Madrid youth set up in the summer 2007. Rafa Benitez himself flew out to Madrid to seal the deal, meeting with the youngster's parents while he was there. Bruna rejected a new deal from the Spanish giants and opted for the move to Merseyside, after being promised the opportunity to train with the first team.Real saw this as a massive blow, with many in the Spanish media touting Bruna as the 'Messi of Madrid' due to his electric pace, dazzling dribbling and impressive delivery and goal scoring record. In an interview in his homeland, talking about new argentinian players, football legend Diego Maradona tipped Bruna to be better than Lionel Messi and Javier Saviola, saying "he could be a different level, better than Saviola for sure and even Lionel."[1] He is currently being eased into the reserve league by Gary Ablett. Although he is starting more after liverpools reserve league championship win over blackburn. Ablett described him as "a real talent" after scoring "a brilliant free kick"[2] in the reserves 3-0 victory over Wigan Athletic in the second round of the Lancashire FA Canterbury Senior Cup.

Really hope Rafa gives some of the youngsters a chance. the buzz when a guy rises from the youth ranks into the full team outweighs a big signing in my opinion.

SOME FROM MY NOTE BOOK WHEN I TOOK A TRIP TO BRASIL EARLIER THIS YEARAislanAfter the sale of Breno by Sao Paulo to Bayern Munich, Aislan the young towering defender has been promoted into Sao Paulo’s first team to replace Breno at centre half. Aislan won the best defender award at this years Youth World Club Cup, which Sao Paulo won, beating Chelsea 1-0 in the final. AC Milan and Inter Milan, the two great rivals are said to be interested in the 19 year old. He is valued at around 2 million euros, but Sao Paulo would push for more money if bigger clubs wanted to buy. Sao Paulo would probabily want to hang on to him at least until the end of the Brazilian Championship.Danilinhoan unknown quantity, he moved to Schalke when he was only 16 and spent two seasons on loan at Mirassol and América. Unfortunately Schalke decided to release him after the two loans. Santos immediately snapped him up, to bring him back to his native country. Danilinho only played 10 games throughout the 2006 Brazilian season, this resulted in him moving to 2nd division Athlético Mineiro where he has shone, scoring 6 goals in 28 games from the attacking midfield position. St Etienne are the latest team to be interested in the 20 year old. Who knows if he will shine in Europe or whether he will fade again. Superstar in the making or just an average player, take your guess. Media in and around Brazil have been very impressed with the playmaker.Wagner Luiz FogolariThe Brazilian Porto Alegre player is attracting interest from Benfica. He is a defender and is 18 years of age. He is also a towering player, being 191cm tall.CoutinhoThis player could turn out to be the next Pele, if he continues to show is incredible talent for the Brazil U15s and Vasco De Gama. He is only 15 years of age and he has already been strongly linked with Real Madrid, whose scouts (Miguel Angel Portugal and Julen Lopetegui) have been very impressed by his technical abilities. Coutinho is an attacking midfielder who scored 3 goals in 4 matches for Brazil’s U15s at this years South American U15 Championships. Reports suggest that he will sign for Real Madrid when he turns 16. Real are the favourites, but Barcelona, Valencia, Athletico Madrid and Villareal have all stated their interest in the teenager.Victor Andradehe is only 12 years old, yet he is being compared to Robinho. His name is Victor Andrade and he plays for Santos, the Brazilian club who seem to churn out the talent. No clubs have stated their interest yet but I don’t think it will be long before a team does.Jean Carlos Cherabetter than Victor Andrade, he is also 12 years old and plays for Santos U13s in Brazil. Manchester United and Real Madrid have been strongly linked with the prodigy who is an attacking midfield player and has been compared to Robinho. Chera’s dad, Celso in September this year told the Santos president, Marcelo Teixeira that he intended to take his son to Spain, after Real Madid had made a bumper offer for his son. The Chera’s were also unhappy with Santos U13s manager Alberto Vieira’s training methods, another reason why Celso wanted his son to move. In the end Teixeira, the U13s manager was sacked, this has persuaded Jean Carlos Chera to remain at Santos for at least the time being.NeymarAnother player who has been compared to Robinho is Neymar da Silva Santos Júnior, “Neymar”. The 15 year old offensive player has just signed a new contract with domestic club Santos. The contract involves buying Neymar’s image rights until 2015, meaning anyone who wants to buy Neymar, has to pay 13 million. He was due to sign contracts with Real Madrid 2 years ago but because of board changes at Santos, contracts were left unsigned. Manchester United and Real Madrid are the favourites to sign him at the present time. If he fufills his potential he will be a top quality player in the future.Rafael ForsterMaybe not a world class player in the making, but certainly a decent one. Forster made 4 appearances for Brazil at the U17 South American Championships for Brazil, but sadly was an unused substitute in all 4 of Brazil’s games at the Fifa U17 World Cup. He is a defender and plays for Internacional in his native country. There have been minor reports that PSV Eindhoven are interested in him.Thiago HelenoAfter making 6 starts for Brazil at this years South American U20 Championships, it was a suprise that Thiago Heleno was left out of the Brazil U20 squad to play at the Fifa U20 World Cup. Younger age levels have proved very succesful for Heleno, he is capped at U17 level, and starred at U18 level making 14 appearances and scoring an amazing 7 goals from his usual centre back position. He helped Brazil win the South American U17 Campionship in 2005 with his solid displays in defence. He was brought up through the Cruzeiro youth system and finally he broke into the first team last season. He scored made 15 appearances last season scoring 2 goals. He is very dangerous from set pieces. He made his first team debut against Juventude in the Campeonato Brasileiro during May 7th 2006. His first professional goal came on June 3rd 2006 against Fortaleza. This season he has currently made 10 appearances. Juventus have been linked with the impressive defender recently.FelipeVirtually unknown to the world is Brazilian U15 star Felipe. He had a great South American U15 Champonship, starting all 7 of Brazil’s games. He scored 3 goals. He is an attacking midfielder, but has been known to play as a striker. He is only 15 years old and currently plays for Internacional, Real Madrid have placed him at the top of their wanted list, maybe the move will come in the summer.WellingtonThis 15 year old midfielder is rather special. He started all 7 of Brazil’s games at the South American U15 Championships this year, scoring 2 goals. He currently plays for Fluminense in Brazil. Real Madrid scouts were seen watching him at the U15 Championship. According to Real Madrid President, Ramon Calderon he is at the top of their wish list.Luis GuilhermeLuis Guilherme started all 7 of Brazil’s South American U15 Championship games in the summer, keeping 3 clean sheets out of a possible 7. Guilherme currently plays for Botafogo in Brazil and is 15 years of age. Arsenal are very keen on the young goalkeeper, and are keen to take him to the Emirates in the summer of 2008. However this is unlikely because Brazilian players are not allowed to leave before they are 18.ThiagoThis Brazilian has been in Europe for all of his very short career. The club that possesses him is Barcelona. Thiago is only 16 years of age, but already he has been promoted from Barcelona’s youth team into their B team. They decided to move him from the youth setup last season, due to his commanding performances in the centre of midfield, his favourite position. He has a tendancy to drift outwards onto his right foot, that dominates the midfield. We should be seeing a lot more from the youngster in the coming seasons.GersonThis player will surely play in Europe one day, he is an outstanding talent. Gerson, is a similar player to twins, Rafael and Fabio who play in the Brazilian U17 team. Gerson is a goal scoring full back, who is only 15 years of age. He was intrumental in Brazil’s South American U15 Championship victory. He started all 7 of Brazil’s games, scoring 3 goals, making him the equal 2nd top goal scorer at the tournament. He was captain of the Brazil side throughout the competition. His goals came against, Ecuador, Venezuela and Argentina. He was included in the best starting line up at the end of the tournament. He plays his domestic football for Gremio.EliveltonI really want this player to move domestic youth teams, as Corinthians, his current youth team club have been relegated in Brazil. Elivelton is a quality, young centre midfield player. At the South American U15Championship, he started all 7 of Brazil’s games. He organised Brazil’s midfield, helping them win the tournament. At the end of the tournament, Elivelton was named as one of the best two centre midfield players. Earning himself a place in the dream 11. He is currently 15 years old. Hopefully a top division Brazilian club will notice that this player has a bright future ahead of him.CaioThis player has no international experience but I think he is a decent player. Caio, full name, Caio César Alves dos Santos is a Brazilian attacking midfielder, who is 21 years of age and 6ft 1in tall. Caio has just secured a move to German side Eintracht Frankfurt from native club Gremio Barueri. His contract will run from the 14th January 2008 to 14th June 2012. He began his career with Gremio Barueri’s youth side. He gradually made his way up to the senior side during the 2002-2003 season in Brazil. He spent two years on loan at Guarani next, making just 5 appearances. Even in the 2006 season he made no appearances for Gremio Barueri, his time at the club was coming near to an end. For the latter part of the 2007 season Caio went on loan to Internacional, making 8 appearances. For me his supurb loan spell at Palmeiras clinched his move to European football. For the first part of this season, Caio went on loan to Palmeiras, immediately they made him a first choice playmaker. Caio was brilliant, making 27 appearances, scoring 9 goals before his move to Germany. Providing he gets a chance to play for Eintracht Frankfurt regulary, comparisons to Diego (Werder Bremen) will be made.DentinhoDentinho is a hot prospect for the future. He is a striker who currently plays for Corinthians in Brazil, his native country. However, according to Brazilian media and press reports, Arsenal are going to snap the 18 year old up for £3.5 million very soon. For Corinthians he has made 5 appearances, scoring 4 goals, a brilliant goal scoring average. His debut came against Palmeiras, and he scored his first goal against Fluminense. If he moves to Arsenal, he can only get better, with the help of their youth system.Diogo Gomes PereiraThis player has been in blistering form for Portuguesa, in the Brazilian 2nd division (Serie cool.gif. He has scored 18 goals in 26 games, he even missed a month of the season, due to injury. Diogo is from Brazil, and is yet to play for the national team at any level. He is 18 years of age. A football website, called Futebol Interior asked 50 Brazilian football journalists about who they thought would make their ‘dream’ starting 11. Diogo was in 37 of the journalist’s ‘dream teams’. I don’t think it will be long until Diogo is snapped up by a bigger Brazilian team.EdsonBrazilian Figueirense centre back Edson has been impressive for the Brazilian club lately, this has caused FC Porto to state their interest in the 20 year old defender. He joined Figueirense in 2005 from his youth club, Caxias. Since being at Figueirense his talent has just grown in calibre. Since moving to Figueirense he has made 28 appearances, but is yet to register a goal. His current contract with the club, runs from 6th June 2006 to the 31st December 2009. He was included in the Brazil squad for last summer’s Fifa U20 World Cup, where Brazil reached the last 16. He started 2 of Brazil’s 4 games in the competition, picking up 2 yellow cards, the two games that he didn’t start, he remained as an unused substitute. If Porto follow up their interest in the Brazilian youngster, Europe will be watching.Alex TeixeiraThis player is a star in the making. Alex Teixeira or ‘Alex’, as he is more commonly known, played supurbly for the Brazil U17s at both the Fifa U17 World Cup and the South American U17 Championship. He is a winger, who has shown his goal scoring capabilities with 2 goals at the Fifa U17 World Cup and another 2 at the South American U17 Championship. At the Fifa tournament he started all 4 of Brazil’s games, scoring against New Zealand and Korea DPR. Meanwhile, at the South American U17 Championship he scored against Bolivia and Ecuador. He is now 18 years of age, because his birthday was on 6th January this year. Due to his outstanding performances on the wing for Brazil, Chelsea in this month’s transfer window made a bid of £2.5 million to Vaso Da Gama, his domestic club. This offer was rejected. Surely he will move from Vasco Da Gama and into European club football sometime soon.Ji ParanaThis player is a huge talent for the future, he will surely play in Europe one day. Junior Felicio Marques, or ‘Ji Parana’ as he is known, currently plays for Internacional in his native country, Brazil. Ji Parana did not start his career at Internacional, but at once top Brazilian team Corinthians. He played for the Corinthians youth team during 2003-2004 season, but the following season (2005-2006), he was moved up to the first team. He only made 4 appearances, but he was still only 19. For the 2006-2007 season he decided to move to Internacional on a 5 year deal. His current contract runs from the 23rd October 2006 (the day he signed for the club) until 22nd October 2011. During last season Ji Parana made 8 appearances for the club. He made his debut in the Campeonato Gaucho, during early 2007. Hopefully the new Brazilian season, which starts in the Spring/Summer will bring more chances for him to prove he deserves a spot in the Internacional starting 11. On the international front, Ji Parana is a key player in midfield for the Brazilian U20 team. He started all 4 of Brazil’s games at the Fifa U20 World Cup, where he was captain of the side. Even though he is only 20, Ji Parana has two honours to his name: Campeonato Brasileiro Serie A in 2005 with Corinthians and the Copa Sao Paulo de Juniors in 2005 also with Corinthians.GiulianoThis player is tipped to be one of the brightest talents in Brazilian football in a few years. Giuliano Victor de Paula, or Giuliano as he is usually known had a dismal South American U17 Championship with Brazil, he started only 1 out of 9 games for Brazil, the start was against Ecuador. Against Peru, Bolivia, Chile and Argentina he appeared as a substitute. He accumiliated 0 goals at the tournament. However, at the more important tournament, the Fifa U17 World Cup he was sensational for Brazil, starting all 4 of Brazil’s games, against New Zealand, Korea DPR, England and Ghana, scoring 2 goals. Those goals came against New Zealand and Korea DPR. Giuliano also gained 1 assist. Giuliano’s favourite position is the attacking midfield role, where he can use his precise passing to split opponents open. He can also play as a striker. He was born in Curitiba, Brazil, is currently 17 years of age and 1.79m in height. His domestic club , Parana have seen the potential Giuliano has, and have tied him down to his first professional contract already, until 1st February 2010. Watch this player in the future, he is a rare talent.KaykeThis player shone at last years Champions Youth Cup in Malaysia, scoring 5 goals for Flamengo, of Brazil. Kayke scored 2 goals against Arsenal, and one goal against Ajax, Manchester United and AC Milan. His goal tally made him the 2nd top scorer at the tournament. To my suprise Kayke has not been called up to the Brazil U17 or U20 sides in his career yet. However, he has time on his side, as he is only 19 years of age. For his domestic club, Flamengo he has appeared 3 times for the first team, he is yet to score. Kayke’s full name is Kayke Moreno de Andrade Rodrigues, he was born on 1st April 1988 in Brasilia, Distrito Federal, Brazil. If he scores regulary for Flamengo in a few seasons time, Europe will be beckoning.FagnerFagner Conserva Lemos, or simply Fagner as he is well known participated for Brazil at last years South American U20 Championship, despite being only 18 years of age. At the tournament he started 3 of Brazil’s 9 games at full back. These starts came against Uruguay, Paraguay and Columbia. He was not first choice at full back to start with, but when he was given his chance with 3 games of the tournament to go, he took it very well indeed. He played well aginst Uruguay, this cemented his place in the starting 11. Altogether Fagner has 6 caps for Brazil at U20 level. Fagner is a slight figure, being only 1.68m tall, this gives him a great disadvantage in the air, but a great advantage on the floor. He was born in Sao Paulo, Brazil on June 11th 1989. Holland is where Fagner plays his domestic club football, with top club, PSV Eindhoven. He began his career in the Corinthians youth system during the 2005/2006 season, and the following season he was promoted to the first team, making 9 appearances. His big move to Europe came at the start of this season, after gaining a work permit he joined up with PSV in time for pre season training. Before moving to PSV he had spent 6 months on loan at Vitoria Bahia, back in Brazil. He made his debut for PSV on 19th August 2007. Since then he has made 3 appearances for PSV.
